The Wembley Amateur Football Club had another good weekend in Round 18 winning four from five matches on the day.

Drew Banfield Colts: Wembley 13-13-91 defeated Scarborough 4-5-29.

The Colts rounded out the regular season with a 62-point victory over Scarborough. After finishing the season top of the table the Colts now have the week off and need only win one finals match in order to qualify for the Grand Final.

B Reserves: Wembley 8-5-53 defeated by Scarborough 6-7-55.

The narrow two-point loss means that the Seconds missed out not the minor premiership and on having the week off in week one of the finals. The Seconds will now line up against Whitfords this weekend in the Qualifying Final.

B Grade: Wembley 10-3-81 defeated Scarborough 10-9-69.

The Firsts victory over minor premiers Scarborough, coupled with Wanneroo’s loss to Collegians on the weekend saw the Firsts move into second spot on the table and book a home Qualifying Final against Wanneroo this weekend.

D2 Reserves: Wembley 24-24-168 defeated Kingsley 1-0-6.

The Fourths banked their 15th consecutive victory on the weekend, moving within one game of completing an unbeaten regular season. The 162-point victory lifted the Fourths percentage by a remarkable 58% to 658% for the season.

D2 Grade: Wembley 12-8-80 defeated Kingsley 6-4-40.

The Thirds victory ensured that they booked a double-chance for the finals and will now finish the year in second position with one game to play.
